Logicuste (2008 Edition)

LOGIC is an everyday activity, particularly in a democracy. Correct reasoning is a necessary communicative skill that every responsible  citizen must consistently exercise in order to keep democracy functional.

Terrorism and other threats to the integrity of democratic institutions, including graft and corruption, are actually practices of incorrect reasoning.

The purpose of logic is to provide the student a thorough training on analytic skills starting from the fundamentals of inference, the basic principles of valid argument forms up to the caveats of informal fallacies and the categorical imperatives of moral reasoning.
